Job summary

AJM Healthcare in Reading is seeking a qualified Clinician to join our integrated clinical team as an Advanced Clinician. You will conduct assessments with NHS wheelchair users in multiple settings, manage your own caseload, and work closely with service leads to ensure high quality care.

You must hold a HCPC-registered qualification in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, a valid UK driving license, and be prepared for enhanced DBS checks. This is a full-time role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified clinician with HCPC registration in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
• Full UK driving license with up to 6 points acceptable.
• Experience conducting comprehensive patient assessments in wheelchair services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Hold, prioritise and manage your own caseload of service users with complex needs.
• Provide high-quality assessments and prescribe manual or powered wheelchairs, seating and related equipment.
• Work to professional standards, guidelines and best practice; offer advanced clinical advice.
• Supervise rehabilitation staff and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team when required.
• Plan internal staff training and manage special projects within the service.
