Job summary

AJM Healthcare is seeking an Intermediate Clinician (Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist) to join its integrated clinical team. You will conduct assessments for NHS wheelchair users across various settings, maintaining outstanding customer service while collaborating with service leads and other clinical colleagues.

You will manage your own caseload of patients with mobility and seating needs, adhering to professional standards and providing expert guidance within the wheelchair service.

Qualifications

• Must have HCPC registration.
• Must hold an Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy qualification.

Responsibilities

• Hold and manage your own caseload of service users, including those with complex needs.
• Provide high-quality assessment and prescription of manual wheelchairs, powered wheelchairs, buggies and seating.
• Work within professional standards and clinical guidelines, promoting best practice.
• Provide clinical advice to other team members; may lead a specialism.
• Have competence within wheelchair services with developed theoretical knowledge.
• Supervise and allocate work to rehabilitation assistants and engineering staff.
