Job summary

AM Healthcare Group in Leicester is seeking an experienced Clinician/Senior Clinician (OT/PT) to join our wheelchair team. You will assess, prescribe and fit wheelchairs, buggies and specialist seating, promoting independence and patient-centred care.

You will work HCPC-registered with a driving licence and have a track record in wheelchair services, MDT collaboration and service improvement. The role includes mentoring colleagues and contributing to professional development.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
• HCPC registered.
• Full driving licence.
• Practice educator training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver autonomous, patient-centred care, independently managing routine and moderately complex cases.
• Adhere to clinical prescription guidelines to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Plan and prioritise caseload to meet service targets in a dynamic environment.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to audits and quality improvement.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Support mentorship and supervision of students and junior staff.
