Job summary

Belong’s Village in Birkdale is looking for an Exercise Specialist to deliver engaging group and individual exercise sessions for older adults, including those with long-term conditions. You will design wellness activities aligned with Belong standards and work closely with GP partners and village staff.

As a Level 3 Exercise Referral/Gym Instructor, you will develop rounded programmes, monitor progress and support residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing within a community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Qualif required: Level 3 Exercise Referral (GP referral) or equivalent.
• Level 3 Gym Instructor/Personal Trainer qualification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional exercise programmes for older adults.
• Organise and run a range of exercise activities across the village.
• Maintain and review exercise plans with care teams.
