Job summary

Balfour Beatty is delivering Net Zero Teesside Power, a landmark energy project on Teesside. We are seeking experienced Welders to join the site-based team and contribute hands-on to high‑quality fabrication and pipework across process and mechanical systems.

You will work in large-scale environments, following approved welding procedures and safety standards, collaborating with pipefitters and wider construction crews to ensure right-first-time outcomes on this major engineering programme.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience within a major construction, mechanical or industrial environment.
• Experience working with piping and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work accurately to drawings, specifications and welding procedures.
• Strong understanding of weld quality and right-first-time delivery.
• A safety-first approach to work.
• Ability to work alongside pipefitters, supervisors and wider construction teams.
• Professional approach and pride in the trade.
