Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc in Teesside is recruiting experienced Mechanical Pipefitters for Net Zero Teesside Power, a landmark UK energy project delivering low-carbon infrastructure. This site-based role centers on mechanical and piping systems installation, testing and commissioning on large-scale industrial works.

You will read engineering drawings, work safely within a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to right-first-time delivery on a major construction site in the North East.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Pipefitter in an industrial or major-project environment.
• Experience installing and working with mechanical and piping systems.
• Ability to work safely as part of a multidisciplinary construction team.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble piping systems according to drawings and specifications.
• Work safely on a major construction site and ensure right-first-time delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers, trades and project teams to meet project milestones.
