Balfour Beatty plc is recruiting an experienced Plater for the Net Zero Teesside Power project on Teesside. This site-based role offers the chance to contribute to a landmark UK energy infrastructure programme.

You will fabricate and assemble platework and mechanical components, read engineering drawings, mark out, cut, shape and form materials, and fit components for welding. You’ll work closely with Welders, Mechanical Fitters and Riggers in a safety-first environment.

Formación

• Experience as a Plater within a major construction, fabrication or industrial environment
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Experience marking out, preparing, fitting and assembling fabricated components
• Strong commitment to safety and right-first-time delivery
• Ability to work effectively alongside Welders and other mechanical trades

Responsabilidades

• Fabrication and assembly of platework and mechanical components
