Job summary

Hoorya is seeking a Senior Blockchain Developer for a UK project with a leading financial institution. You will design and deploy Web3 components, write Solidity contracts, and integrate backend services with multiple blockchains.

You will work in an Agile, distributed team, focusing on security, gas efficiency, and scalable architectures while aligning with enterprise standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• BSc in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience with Solidity development and smart contract testing.
• Strong knowledge of Web3 libraries (Web3J, Web3JS, Ethers.js, Viem).
• Backend engineering experience in Java/Spring and/or Node.js.
• Solid understanding of token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155).
• Experience with on-chain events, state synchronization, and event-driven architectures.
• Cryptography concepts: signatures, hashing, PKI, key management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Web3 components including smart contracts and wallet integrations.
• Develop backend services interfacing with public and permissioned blockchains.
• Write, test, and audit Solidity contracts for security and gas efficiency.
• Implement event-driven architectures for on-chain events and lifecycles.
• Support tokenization, custody, and DeFi/TradFi bridging integrations.
• Maintain engineering standards through code reviews and documentation.
