iStandUK, hosted by Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, is seeking a Senior Web Developer to lead the technical development of its digital platforms, products and services. This hybrid role involves contributing across the full software lifecycle, collaborating with iStandUK and Tameside colleagues, and shaping solutions with ASP.NET, C#, React and AI-enabled tooling to improve public services.

iStandUK is hosted by Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, and this role is being recruited through the Council's IT service. The successful candidate will work closely with and be managed by the iStandUK team, providing technical leadership and development expertise to support the delivery of its national programme of standards and digital transformation projects.
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Web Developer to lead the technical development of iStandUK's digital platforms, products and services.
This is a dynamic and varied role where you will work across a range of projects, contributing throughout the full software development lifecycle, from discovery and design through to development, deployment and continuous improvement. While your core focus will be software development, and in particular working alongside iStandUK and Tameside colleagues, you’ll also have the opportunity to directly influence design decisions and shape the future of public based digital services.
Working closely with iStandUK partners, local authorities, stakeholders and colleagues within Tameside Council, you will help develop solutions that improve data sharing, reduce duplication and support better outcomes for communities across the UK.
Contribute to technical planning, architecture decisions and continuous improvement activities across iStandUK projects.
