Job summary

Nextech Group in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Web Designer to own design and UX across new websites, rebuilds and conversion-focused redesigns. This hands-on role requires taking work from brief through wireframes to client sign-off.

You'll be the main design specialist, shaping concepts, presenting to clients, and collaborating with the digital team to deliver high-quality, responsive experiences in a hybrid, Birmingham-based setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial web design experience.
• Strong UX, usability and conversion-focused design.
• Portfolio showing original website designs.
• Comfortable presenting concepts to clients and handling revisions.
• WordPress experience is useful but not a developer role.

Responsibilities

• Design original, responsive websites from brief to sign-off.
• Create wireframes and prototypes in Figma or similar.
• Apply UX and conversion principles across journeys and forms.
• Present concepts to clients and explain design decisions.
• Manage multiple projects with the wider digital team.
