Job summary

Equator is seeking a senior developer to lead delivery and architecture for client projects in a fast-paced, AI-enabled environment. You will own technical approaches, drive secure, scalable solutions, and mentor a team through design reviews and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring robust testing, and maintaining secure environments, with a focus on mentoring and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading delivery of features and optimisations.
• Ability to mentor developers and drive AI-enabled workflows.
• Strong understanding of security and data protection in development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, secure and performant solutions that meet clients’ requirements.
• Own architecture decisions and solution design.
• Lead AI-assisted development and ensure quality, security and accountability.
• Ensure code is reviewed and merged via Pull Requests.
• Estimate work with documented approach and assumptions.
• Use tooling like JIRA to monitor progress and issues.
• Provide progress visibility and remove impediments.
• Collaborate with Test Managers on testing strategy.
• Document changes to shared environments securely.
• Coaching junior developers and mentoring teams.
• Protect client and company data in every AI workflow.
• Participate in retrospectives and support business development.
• Lead client demos and attend meetings as required.
• Take morning stand ups and report to Engineering Manager.
