Job summary

Murphy is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of water and wastewater projects in the South of England, with potential work across regions such as Severn Trent Water. You will oversee all phases from design to commissioning and report to the UK Regional Manager.

You will manage stakeholders, ensure HSE compliance, control budgets and schedules, and contribute to tenders and contract documentation. A strong NEC contracts background is essential.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate experience in client-facing water/wastewater projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial awareness.
• Experience in design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of MEICA projects.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand needs and support tendering teams.
• Oversee project portfolio across design, process, civil, MEICA, and commissioning.
• Manage delivery with emphasis on HSE, budget, and schedule.
• Lead and develop staff and retain key personnel.
• Maintain relationships with senior client representatives.
• Coordinate with internal and external design teams to meet client standards.
