Job summary

BGEN Ltd, part of M Group Water, is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to deliver automation and control system projects for Scotland's water infrastructure. You will work within a multidisciplinary team from design through testing, commissioning and ongoing support.

You will design PLC/HMI/SCADA solutions, prepare design docs, and ensure QA compliance while maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to project delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering automation and control systems across water/wastewater assets.
• Ability to interpret client specs, standards and user requirements.
• Understanding QA processes and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions for water and wastewater assets.
• Produce FDS, I/O docs, test docs, and operation manuals.
• Configure and program control systems using Siemens and Rockwell platforms.
• Support QA processes ensuring compliance with procedures and standards.
• Participate in design reviews, audits and lessons-learned workshops.
• Provide technical support and optimisation of existing control systems.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to M Group Water's reputation.
