Equans is seeking a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer (Water) to lead maintenance at Southmead Hospital, Bristol. The role involves supervising the water hygiene team and ensuring safe operation of water systems, with daily oversight of planned and reactive tasks.

You will read drawings, manage contractors, and maintain documentation in Zetasafe, with opportunities for professional development and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience; plumbing experience essential.
• Prior supervisory experience is essential.
• Thorough understanding of engineering building services installation and maintenance techniques.

Responsabilités

• Supervise water hygiene team delivering maintenance activities in line with the Written Scheme of Control.
• Oversee safe operation and maintenance of water systems and plant across the site.
• Manage sub-contractors and ensure works comply with safe systems of work and permit-to-work.
• Record and analyse water systems maintenance activities using Zetasafe.
• Ensure PPM and Reactive tasks meet contract timescales and quality standards.
