Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Estimator with proven water sector experience to join our UK estimation team, delivering high‑quality estimates for major programmes in the South East or Midlands. Remote work within the region is available as workload permits, with opportunities to influence best-practice and project outcomes.

The role requires demonstrated experience in estimating for water sector projects, strong leadership, and the ability to support bids while working across

Qualifications

Qualified to high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience.
Relevant successful experience of providing estimating services to water sector projects.
Experience of working with estimating software packages and tools.
Desirable chartered status or working towards (RICS/CIOB/A Cost E) where applicable.

Responsibilities

Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates for projects and programmes.
Support leadership in developing estimating best practice within Turner & Townsend.
Contribute to bids, drive departmental objectives, and promote estimating excellence.
Manage or mentor junior staff on complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
Stay abreast of developments to provide best-practice advice aligned with business goals.
