Stantec is seeking an experienced Water Resources professional to lead planning, delivery and implementation of water resource projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, timescale, quality and regulatory requirements.

You will develop early career colleagues across technical areas and support bids, while working across a growing Water and Environment portfolio with a client-facing, collaboration‑driven approach.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geography, Geological Sciences, Environmental Science or Civil Engineering.
• Postgraduate qualification in Hydrology, Hydrogeology or Water Resources Management preferred.
• Chartered or actively working towards chartered with CIWEM, ICE or the Institute of Water.
• Extensive experience in water resources projects including WRMPs, Drought Plans, regional plans and supply–demand balance assessments.
• Expertise across hydrological, hydrogeological and environmental assessment work (HRA, SEA, WFD).
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams, building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, and delivering complex programmes with technical rigour and commercial awareness.

• Run commercial projects, bids and proposals, and support the wider Water and Environment department as needed, across a varied portfolio.
