Job summary

Stantec in the United Kingdom seeks a water quality modelling specialist to support clients across water, energy and infrastructure sectors. You will identify pollution sources, develop quantitative models and author evidence-led reports to help decision-makers improve rivers, estuaries and coastal environments.

As you grow in the role, you will mentor junior colleagues, collaborate across disciplines and strengthen client relationships while contributing to Stantec's expanding water quality

Qualifications

Degree in Science, Mathematics or Engineering with postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience.
Working towards or already Chartered status with a relevant professional institution.
Experience with water quality modelling packages (MIKE, Delft3D, Telemac, AEM3D) in estuarine, marine, or coastal systems.
Basic coding in Python or R.
Strong communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Deliver quantitative water quality models to support projects.
Author and review technical reports.
Build and maintain client relationships.
Mentor junior colleagues and collaborate across disciplines.
