Job summary

Stantec seeks a Principal Water Quality Modeller to lead multidimensional environmental water quality modelling across UK and international projects. You will scope, collect data, develop models and present findings that influence water management decisions.

The role requires Chartered status or progress towards it, with hands-on experience in hydrodynamics, water quality and related numerical modelling. Collaborative, client-facing work and a drive for technical excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in 2D and 3D hydrodynamic and water-quality modelling.
• Chartered status or actively working towards Chartered status with a relevant institution.
• Strong technical authority with independent working capability.

Responsibilities

• Scope, data collection, development and presentation of multidimensional environmental water quality models.
• Identify pollution sources, pathways and impacts with stakeholders.
• Develop engineered and nature-based solutions for water environments.
• Support regulatory compliance and project delivery across UK and overseas clients.
