Job summary

AECOM in Scotland seeks a Senior/Principal Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary water sector projects from feasibility to commissioning. With offices across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and Inverness, you will drive delivery for a multi-billion SR27 programme and related frameworks.

You will mentor teams, manage contracts, and contribute to business development while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering projects within consultancy, engineering or infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts advantageous.
• APM PMQ, PRINCE2 or equivalent qualification desirable.
• Chartered or working towards professional membership desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects in line with client and AECOM requirements.
• Define project scope, schedule, resources and risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers and other team members, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Manage project commercial performance, including forecasting, costs and cash flow.
• Oversee effective contract administration and quality delivery.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers where required.
• Contribute to business development through proposals, client engagement and future opportunities.
• Champion a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture.
