Job summary

JN Bentley, part of Mott MacDonald Bentley, seeks an experienced Planner to ensure successful delivery of projects improving water quality in Scotland. This role involves developing detailed construction programmes, using software like Primavera P6, and coordinating with staff to ensure compliance with contracts and milestones.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and experience in large-scale water sector projects. The position offers extensive training and health benefits tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline (preferred).
• Proven experience in programme planning within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with NEC, JCT, or other standard forms of contract.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction programmes using planning software.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedules and update regularly.
• Identify risks, delays, and opportunities, proposing mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with operational, design and commercial staff to align programmes.
