Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Senior Planner for its water infrastructure project portfolio in Bexleyheath. You will develop, manage and report on tender and contractual programmes, ensuring milestones are met while coordinating with project and commercial teams.

You will monitor progress, identify risks, mentor junior Planners, and drive 4D planning adoption, maintaining accurate baselines and look-ahead programmes across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience planning civil engineering and M&E projects.
• Knowledge of production control and collaborative planning techniques.
• Good understanding of current HSE practices and a valid CSCS card.
• Experience working with NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.
• Strong Microsoft Office and software application skills.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 planning software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify project risks and opportunities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.
• Able to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities.
• Strong focus on project delivery and achieving targets.
• Proactive and self-motivated approach.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective workload management and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and report on tender and contractual programmes.
• Monitor progress and costs; identify risks and opportunities.
• Mentor junior Planners and share best practice.
• Develop and implement 4D construction planning.
• Create and maintain baseline programmes and look-ahead schedules.
• Attend progress meetings and present programme performance.
• Conduct site visits to gather progress information.
• Escalate planning concerns to senior management.
• Prepare monthly progress reports per client requirements.
• Liaise with project teams on planning assumptions and outputs.
• Provide planning software training and support to new users.
