Job summary

Shero Talent Consultancy is recruiting a Senior Estimator - Water for a Tier 1 contractor. You'll lead high-value civil and water infrastructure estimates, with project values typically £50M+.

The role is regional (East of England) with a Cambridgeshire office and a hybrid pattern (3 days in office / 2 from home). Starting salary around £90k plus benefits.

Candidates should bring proven experience in water, MEICA, and risk-driven commercial delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven estimating experience within a Tier 1 contractor or major infrastructure.
• Strong civil engineering knowledge, water/utilities/infrastructure experience.
• Experience in MEICA or water process and treatment.
• Understanding of construction methodologies, risk management and commercial principles.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience on complex multi-disciplinary bids and tenders.
• Proactive, solutions-focused with a passion for winning work.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of accurate, competitive estimates for high-value civil and water projects.
• Develop budgets and final cost estimates for projects typically £50M+.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in a regional specialist team across East of England/Cambridgeshire.
