Job summary

Pinnacle Recruitment is seeking a Senior Estimator for a major contractor in Cambridge. The role focuses on pricing high-value civil engineering and water infrastructure projects, leading the preparation of robust estimates and supporting winning bids.

You will influence bid strategy, collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, and ensure commercially robust outcomes with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Qualifications

Proven estimating experience within a Tier 1 contractor or major infrastructure environment.
Strong civil engineering knowledge related to water, utilities, infrastructure or major projects.
Understanding of construction methodologies, risk management and commercial principles.

Responsibilities

Lead the production of accurate, competitive and robust estimates for high-value civil engineering and water projects.

Job description

Pinnacle Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Estimator to work for a major contractor based out of Cambridge.

We're now looking for a talented individual to join our clients growing team and play a pivotal role in pricing and securing major water sector projects. As the Senior Estimator you will lead the production of accurate, competitive and commercially robust estimates for high-value civil engineering and water infrastructure projects.

Salary - up to 95,000 DOE + pkg

Experience required

Proven estimating experience within a Tier 1 contractor or major infrastructure environment.
Strong civil engineering knowledge, ideally gained through water, utilities, infrastructure or major project delivery.
A strong understanding of construction methodologies, risk management and commercial principles.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
The ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working on complex, multi-disciplinary bids and tenders.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach with a passion for winning work.
