Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Senior Water & Drainage Engineer to join our Manchester team. You will lead technical delivery on a varied portfolio of water and environmental projects, from feasibility through detailed design and construction, working closely with clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in water engineering, SuDS and flood risk, proficiency with InfoDrainage/Civil 3D, and a track record of mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in water engineering, drainage, flood risk management or SuDS design.
• Experience delivering projects through feasibility, detailed design and construction.
• Knowledge of UK drainage standards and working with authorities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver water and drainage projects from feasibility to construction.
• Develop SuDS, drainage and flood alleviation schemes for clients.
• Produce hydraulic models and analyses to inform solutions.
• Prepare reports, drawings and specifications for schemes.
• Mentor graduate and junior engineers and work with stakeholders.
