Job summary

Arcadis UK is seeking a Senior Wastewater Modeller to develop wastewater models, manage project aspects, and engage with water utilities to grow Arcadis’s project portfolio.

You will lead technical deliverables, review model quality, mentor junior staff, and work with specialists to ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements. The role focuses on AMP8 challenges, flooding, CSO reduction, and network resilience.

Qualifications

• Advanced hydraulic modelling expertise for wastewater projects.
• Experience coordinating teams and stakeholders.
• Proficient in InfoWorks ICM.
• Knowledge of HADES is advantageous.
• Experience with GIS packages.
• Chartered member of ICE or CIWEM desirable.
• Proven model quality assurance procedures.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Advanced spreadsheet data analysis.
• Coding experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wastewater modelling projects and manage tasks.
• Review and verify sewer network models and survey specifications.
• Collaborate with clients and lead bid preparations.
• Mentor junior staff and foster development.
• Coordinate project elements including QA and client communications.
