Job summary

RSK Geosciences’ Waste and Resources team invites you to join as a Principal Waste and Resources Consultant, shaping strategy, leading high-profile projects, and driving sustainable outcomes across the UK.

You will mentor colleagues, develop capabilities, and support business growth while delivering compliant waste management and resource reuse across civil engineering and land development sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Geology or related discipline.
• MSc in a similar field is desirable.
• Chartered status or working towards it is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and strategic input on waste and resources projects.
• Deliver and review technical outputs including permits, waste plans and material management plans.
• Advise clients on legislation, strategy and innovative waste management options.
• Act as main client contact to build relationships and secure repeat business.
• Lead project delivery from start to finish with quality, compliance and financial performance.
• Manage other team members and support their growth.
• Develop new work streams and contribute to business development.
