Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Senior Waste Management SME to lead a major Waste PFI partnership in the West Yorkshire region. The role combines strategic contract management, performance governance, and long-term environmental objectives within a hybrid working setup.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in EfW/MBT/MRF operations, plus strong leadership in commercial management and stakeholder engagement to drive circular economy initiatives and service improvements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing or overseeing Waste PFI/PPP contracts.
• Strong understanding of EfW, MBT, MRF, RDF/SRF, resource recovery and municipal waste treatment operations.
• Proven track record of delivering contractual performance, governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic contract management and governance for a high-value Waste PFI partnership.
• Drive commercial performance, payments, and service integration.
• Influence strategy, policy, and future service delivery models across complex waste services.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with local authorities, regulators and private partners.
