Job summary

SLR Consulting in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced waste and resource management specialist to support market due diligence, modelling and investment analysis for clients in the waste, recycling and bioenergy sectors.

You will lead projects, manage client relationships and mentor junior colleagues while contributing to business development. Hybrid working is available with preferred locations including Birmingham.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in waste, recycling and/or bioenergy sectors.
• Experience delivering data-driven analysis to support investments and infrastructure decisions.
• Knowledge of waste contracts, technologies, legislation and best practice.
• Business development experience and bid-wins track record.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver market analysis and commercial due diligence for clients.
• Lead complex waste flow, carbon and market modelling projects.
• Provide technical advice on waste services, strategy and procurement.
• Manage projects, budgets and client relationships.
• Support business development and bid preparation.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
