Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated warehouse operator who aspires to build a long and rewarding career in logistics. Join a small, professional team committed to exceeding client expectations daily. The role involves handling a wide range of cargo with ongoing training provided to support your career growth.

This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, with additional hours during peak season (Dec-Feb) as needed.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading materials from containers, air units, and trucks using forklifts and by hand.
• Checking in/out freight according to company SOPs, border agency, and client requirements.
• Checking, stacking, and picking stock in ambient, chilled, and frozen areas.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment following company policies.
• Supporting yard duties and assisting team members as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Current OSH certificate and F endorsement, with at least 3 years of forklift experience.
• A strong awareness and attitude towards Health and Safety.
• Computer navigation and operation skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physical fitness and capability for heavy lifting.

Bonus Skills:

• Dairy handling experience, including slipsheet loading.
• MPI, AP accreditation.
• First aid certificate.
• Previous experience in forwarding or logistics roles.
