Job summary

Huhtamaki is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader in Gosport to lead the dispatch team and uphold safety, quality, and efficiency across operations.

You will manage labour, oversee load creation and ship confirmation, and act as deputy for the Team Leader when needed. The role focuses on performance reviews, incident management, and continuous improvements in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the dispatch team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Conduct return-to-work interviews, 1-2-1s, and performance reviews to support team development and wellbeing.
• Motivate and supervise warehouse personnel, ensuring adequate cover during breaks and absences.
• Act as the first point of escalation for team issues, taking ownership of incident management and corrective actions.
• Allocate labour with the putaway team to meet operational needs and maintain workflow balance.
• Take full ownership of dispatch operations, including load creation, pick release, pick confirmation, and ship confirmation.
• Deputize for the Team Leader when required, ensuring continuity of operations and administrative procedures.
• All damage is investigated product, MHE, facility.
• Process adherence to load checks, correct pallets, heights, condition.
• Team ownership and cross training ensuring operational performance on shift.
• Team absence management.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Hygiene, Environmental, and Housekeeping standards.
• Lead GMP audits, liaise with relevant departments for smooth coordination.
• Perform random process checks to ensure RF gun adherence and standards.
• Conduct team performance reviews.
• Support cycle count accuracy and adherence to inventory plans.
• Provide cover for Goods In, RMA processing, and basic gatehouse duties as needed.
• Demonstrate strong decision-making in a fast-paced environment and resolve issues proactively.
