Job summary

Nordson Test & Inspection in Aylesbury, UK, is seeking a Warehouse/Distribution Manager to lead the warehouse, goods‑in, stores and despatch, ensuring a smooth flow of materials from receipt through production support to customer shipment.

You will drive inventory accuracy, implement lean processes, and build a high‑performing team focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse management experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Forklift licence/certification.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of Known Consignor/Known Shipper requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory management, material handling, shipping, and distribution.
• Ensure the timely availability and efficient flow of materials across inbound, warehouse, production support, and outbound operations to meet business and customer requirements.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse processes, policies, layouts, and logistics operations to drive efficiency and operational performance.
• Lead cycle counting, stock audits, and annual physical inventory processes and investigate discrepancies.
• Recruit, lead, develop and support warehouse team members; establish performance expectations and conduct reviews.
• Promote health, safety and quality culture; ensure compliance with policies and OSHA/health and safety regulations.
