Job summary

Emberwood, part of Sutton 1079, seeks a Senior Waiter to lead service with passion for food and beverage and to support managers in training the team. The role includes guiding briefings, maintaining guest-focused service, and running a section with enthusiasm to deliver the Emberwood experience.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with evenings and weekends. Benefits include hotel breaks, wellness support, and salary package with tronc.

Who we are looking for.

The senior Waiter will ensure that all food services are well supported and help direct the members of the team in being prepared for service. They will be extremely passionate about food and beverage, supporting the Managers in training the team and arming them with all the tools to succeed during briefings. They will be responsible for encouraging the team to remain service and guest focused.

What Are The Key Responsibilities?

• Guest Interaction and Repeat Business built on trust and experiences.
• Ensure the preparation and delivery of service is at the highest standards in relation to our offering.
• Assist with training of staff in the consistent delivery of the order of service, menu knowledge and elevating the guest experience.
• Complete individual tasks assigned by the restaurant manager or line manager
• Compliant with Health and Safety Standards, built in to deliver exquisite experiences for guests.
• Run a section in the restaurant, lounge or terrace with enthusiasm, energy and personality.
• Oversee all sections across Emberwood and support the team in delivery of the product to a high standard
• Responsibility for the correct opening or close-down of the restaurant
• Leadership though energy and enthusiasm for the environment and brand to create a positive feeling for all staff and guests.
