Job summary

University of Manchester is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the definition, delivery and support of enterprise infrastructure and hybrid platforms. You will work with a broad team to deliver automation and VMWARE, with opportunities to contribute to an OpenStack infrastructure.

Engage with Research colleagues to define and develop self-service infrastructure and accelerate moving from ideation to active research.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise infrastructure and hybrid platforms.
• Ability to lead delivery and support of complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Define, deliver and support enterprise infrastructure and hybrid platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, UX designers, analysts and product owners.
• Develop self-service infrastructure and accelerate ideation-to-research transitions.
