Video Editor & Videographer – In-House Role (Preston Based) | Tide Media

Preston, UK | UK Driving Licence Required | Regular Travel

On-Site Only — This is a full-time, in-house position based at our Preston studio.

Remote or hybrid applications will not be considered.

Tide Media is looking for a skilled videographer/editor — not a hobbyist, but a proven content creator who can shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality visuals for leading brands.

About the Role

We’re seeking creators who craft high-impact social media content, understand brand identity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work with top-tier clients in sectors like marine, automotive, adventure, and action sports, shaping digital narratives that make an impact.

You’ll:

• Film and edit short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Create cinematic edits and trailers to elevate brand presence
• Manage full video projects from concept to delivery
• Work solo or with a team on national and international shoots
• Support long-form content strategies for Tide and clients’ YouTube channels
• Stay updated with platform trends and formats
• Enhance stories with graphics, titles, and sound design

What You Bring to the Table

• 3+ years of professional video editing and production experience
• Strong portfolio of dynamic, brand-aligned video content
• Deep knowledge of platform-native formats and trends
• Experience filming withSony FX / Alpha seriesor similar professional equipment
• Proficiency inFinal Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Good sense of storytelling, rhythm, and style, especially in short-form content
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver multiple assets
• Understanding of brand tone, guidelines, and objectives
• Excellent file management and workflow organization

On-Site Role & Travel Requirements

• This role requires your presence in Preston — if you cannot relocate, please do not apply.
• Afull UK driving licence is essential — for location shoots across the UK.
• Occasional international travel is expected — for shoots in the US, Dubai, China, and Europe.
• Work permits will be provided or sponsored for international travel.
