Job summary

Chattyvets is seeking a Senior Veterinary Surgeon with a strong surgical bias to lead in-practice surgical development and mentor junior colleagues. Flexible hours are offered, with full- or part-time options and school hours considered.

Weekdays predominate, with up to 1 in 4 Saturday mornings and no OOH duties to support work-life balance. The role offers a salary up to £65,000 FTE, plus 5.6–6.6 weeks holiday, private health insurance, pension, CPD funding, and covered professional fees,

Qualifications

• Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with valid RCVS registration.
• Strong surgical bias and willingness to lead surgical growth.
• Mentor junior team members and student nurses.
• Excellent communication and collaboration within a team.
