Global Veterinary Careers is seeking a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly small animal team in the North West. This full-time role offers a 4-day working week and a salary from £60,000.

You will mentor colleagues, deliver high-quality care, and help drive the practice forward in collaboration with the Clinical Director. An opportunity to lead, inspire and develop clinical standards awaits.

Qualifications

• Qualified veterinarian registered with the UK’s RCVS.
• Experience as a senior vet and in mentoring others.
• Ability to lead and develop a supportive clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support newly and recently qualified vets to develop clinical skills and decision-making.
• Provide high-quality veterinary care across a small-animal caseload.
• Maintain excellent client communication and patient care standards.
• Foster a positive, respectful, collaborative working environment.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director to shape clinical standards and future direction.
• Share knowledge while developing personal clinical interests.
