Job summary

The Laurels in Runcorn is seeking a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, supportive team. You will work alongside our Clinical Director to shape the practice’s future, mentor the next generation of vets, and help drive a culture where people matter.

The role includes a 4-day week, weekend/ bank holiday rota, and occasional ECC exposure at our sister practice Beech House Veterinary Hospital in Warrington, ensuring hands-on leadership and a broad case mix.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring newly qualified vets.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality clinical care.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills within a veterinary team.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train newly and recently qualified vets to build skills and clinical judgement.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate clinical care across a wide range of cases with excellent client care.
