VetThing Limited is seeking an experienced Business Partner to support a portfolio of 10–15 veterinary practices, driving commercial performance and sustainable growth. This senior, relationship-led role requires deep veterinary practice understanding and a track record of leading multi-site growth.

You will partner with Practice Partners and Practice Managers, coaching leaders, developing growth plans, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring central initiatives deliver real value at practice level while

Formación

• Substantial experience in veterinary practice or healthcare services.
• Proven experience leading or managing multi-site practices or comparable multi-site operations.
• Collaborative, coaching leadership style with ability to influence and build accountability.
• Experience leading change and embedding new ways of working across multiple sites.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to interpret P&L, budgets and KPIs into actions.
• Experience with business planning, growth strategies and performance improvement.
• Excellent communication, presentation and meeting facilitation skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel regularly across the designated area.
• Experience across small animal practice with exposure to farm/equine or referral work.
• Experience working with practice owners/partners or independently managed businesses.
• Recognised coaching or leadership qualification.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, business integration or CMA regulatory requirements.
• Experience working within a group or international organisation.

Responsabilidades

• Practice partnering as the primary contact for your portfolio with Practice Partners, Managers and clinical teams.
• Coaching and leadership development to set priorities and solve problems while respecting autonomy.
• Develop and deliver business plans and growth strategies, monitor P&L and KPIs, identify opportunities and support actions.
• Lead the implementation of central initiatives across the portfolio and translate priorities into practical actions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Integration, Commercial, Strategy, Marketing and M&A for a joined-up approach.
• Plan and deliver Partner and Practice Manager meetings and ensure actions are followed up.
• Support supplier initiatives and local marketing activity to drive practice growth.
• Assist with the integration of newly acquired practices and CMA compliance.
