Job summary

Market Vets is seeking a commercially minded Practice Director to lead two closely located practices and a team of over 40 colleagues within inspiring vet care.

You'll shape strategy, manage P&L and budgets, identify growth opportunities and ensure exceptional client and patient care, while partnering with Clinical Directors to drive performance and growth across the network.

• Drive continuous improvement and support the implementation of wider business initiatives and best practice.
• Champion a safe, compliant and collaborative working environment across both practices.

Lead Two Practices and a Great Team

You’ll provide leadership across more than 40 colleagues, spanning veterinary, nursing, client care, reception and administration teams.

Your role will be about bringing people together, creating a positive and high-performing culture and ensuring everyone has the support, direction and opportunities they need to do their best work.

You’ll work closely with the Clinical Directors, combining your business and operational expertise with their clinical leadership to deliver an excellent experience for clients, patients and colleagues.

You’ll also play a key role in shaping the longer-term strategy for both practices, turning ideas into action and helping Market Vets continue to build on its success.

Key Responsibilities

Working Pattern

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility around working hours between 8:30am and 6:00pm.

You’ll spend time across both practices, which are conveniently located close to one another.
