On behalf of Rolls-Royce , who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs, we are looking for a Senior Verification Engineer role on a 12 month contract based in Derby (hybrid - 3 days working on site, 2 days working remote per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Systems Engineering, Validation & Verification across the entire product and programme life cycle.
- Integrate with and provide coaching, guidance, and training to engineers from other functions.
- Develop verification strategies, verification plans, and product development plans.
- Develop certification / qualification strategies to satisfy external regulatory bodies.
- Create clearance / acceptance documentation that meets the demands of the project.
- Compile and deliver compliance / substantiation evidence for customers and external regulatory bodies (EG EASA/FAA).
Required Experience
- Be qualified to degree level in a STEM subject and with experience in a relevant engineering environment (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical or Controls).
- Have relevant domain experience (Aerospace, Defence, Naval or other highly regulated sectors).
- Knowledge of gas turbines and associated regulatory requirements and processes would be particularly beneficial.
- Possess excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
- Be able to contribute effectively in a team environment, collaborating across different engineering disciplines and externally.
