Job summary

Mundipharma Cambridge is seeking a proactive professional to manage the contracting process for global vendors and consultants within Scientific Affairs. You will drive contract negotiations, invoicing and accruals, while supporting an efficient outsourcing approach to secure competitive services.

You will lead and develop the Vendor Management group, collaborating with legal, quality and finance to ensure compliant budget tracking and vendor performance across key projects.

Qualifications

• Experience managing external vendors to deliver outsourced activities.
• Clear understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and Scientific Affairs activities.
• Strong ownership and problem-solving skills.
• Project management and planning capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation skills with vendor service delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFIs and RFPs for Scientific Affairs and support vendor negotiations.
• Handle financial administration: invoices, PRs, eCafs in the finance system.
• Track spend against PRs/POs and update as needed.
• Collaborate with Legal, Quality, Finance and procurement for vendor assessments.
• Work with finance to track budgets and seek efficiencies.
• Ensure MSAs and Statements of Work are up to date with key vendors.
• Line manage the Vendor Management group within Scientific Affairs.
• Support development and maintenance of processes and SOPs in Scientific Affairs.
