Job summary

Halfords Autocentres in Royal Leamington Spa is seeking a Vehicle Technician. You'll service, repair, and diagnose vehicles, progressing toward MOT testing with support for the qualification.

Salary ranges from £33,000 to £36,000 with an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £6,600 per year and a salary uplift on MOT qualification. A strong benefits package supports your development and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years' Vehicle Technician/Mechanic experience in a workshop environment.
• Full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Willing to undertake MOT Tester training & qualification.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and repair work, including diagnostics.
• Carry out more complex repairs such as clutch and timing belt replacements.
• Contribute to MOT tests to DVSA standards when qualified.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.
