MD Autocare in Aylesbury is seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our busy independent workshop. You will service, diagnose, and repair a wide range of vehicles to a high standard, ensuring safe, quality workmanship for every customer.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years post-qualification experience, a full UK driving licence, and pride in their craft. Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 with optional overtime; salary £38,000–£50,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic.
• Fully qualified in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, professional, and committed.
• Full UK driving licence.
• MOT Tester qualification(advantage but not essential).
• Experience working in a busy, independent garage.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across a wide range of vehicles.
• Complete servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with quality standards.
