Job summary

ASI Recruitment is seeking a Senior Vehicle Technician in the Aldershot area. You will join a well-established workshop with six technicians, own ramp and dedicated workspace, and a clear path for progression within the team.

The role covers servicing, repairs, diagnostics and mechanical work across all makes/models. A Level 3 qualification and MOT Tester status are preferred, with Hybrid/EV experience a bonus. Immediate start available.

• Full UK driving licence.

Senior Vehicle Technician

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for your next move with an established, supportive workshop?

We're working on behalf of a well-established automotive business in the Aldershot area, looking for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a professional, established team.

With six technicians in the workshop, you'll have your own ramp and dedicated working area, giving you the space and autonomy to get the job done properly.

We're also recruiting for a Service Technician, so there are opportunities for experienced technicians at different levels to join the team.

The Role

As a Senior Vehicle Technician, you'll be carrying out a wide range of servicing, repairs, diagnostics and mechanical work across all makes and models.

You'll be a key member of the workshop team, using your experience and technical ability to diagnose faults accurately, complete repairs to a high standard and help maintain the excellent reputation of the business.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years' automotive experience
• Strong experience working across all makes and models
• Level 3 qualification or above
• MOT Tester qualification
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• A reliable, professional approach to your work
• The ability to work effectively as part of an established team
• Hybrid/EV experience or qualifications would be a bonus, but are not essential
• A full UK driving licence

A maximum of 6 points is accepted under the company's driving policy.

What's On Offer

• £40,000-£50,000 salary, depending on experience
• Your own ramp and working area
• Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-6:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am-5:30pm
• Overtime available on Saturdays if you want it, paid at flat rate
• 22 days' annual holiday + bank holidays
• Holiday increases by 1 day per year, up to 27 days + bank holidays
