Job summary

ACS Automotive Recruitment is seeking an experienced Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician for an independent service centre in Orpington. You will perform a wide range of mechanical and diagnostic tasks across all makes and models in a private, low-pressure environment with a supportive team.

The role offers a salary of £55,000–£60,000 DOE, Monday to Friday hours 8:00am–5:30pm, with no weekend work and no overtime requirement.

Qualifications

We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a well-established, privately owned independent automotive service centre in Orpington.

The business has built a strong reputation locally and works across all vehicle makes.

The position has become available following the departure of a highly experienced technician who had been with the business for over 20 years, so this is a key appointment for the company.

About the Role:

As the senior technician within the business, you'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of mechanical and diagnostic work to a high standard.

You'll be joining an established team of technicians who have been with the business for many years, giving you the opportunity to work in a professional but friendly environment without the pressures often associated with larger dealer groups.

The business has four workshop bays and an MOT ramp, with a varied workload covering all makes and models.

• A qualified and highly experienced Vehicle Technician
• Ideally operating at Master Technician level, or a very experienced Senior Technician
• Confident carrying out complex diagnostic and mechanical work
• Experienced across a range of vehicle manufacturers
• Able to work independently and take pride in the quality of their work
• Professional, reliable and committed to delivering excellent customer service
• Keen to continue developing their technical knowledge
