Our Client, a Main Car Dealer, is currently looking to hire a Senior Vehicle Technician to join their team in a busy automotive environment in Southampton.

They have a great reputation in the local area, serving customers in Southampton, Eastleigh, Fareham, and surrounding areas since 1972. They operate a large, successful service department equipped with the latest diagnostic tools. All Technicians are factory trained to meet high standards of maintenance and repair. With over a 4-star rating on Google, they are recognized for excellence in customer service, sales, and aftersales support.

Due to an impending retirement in September 2023, this role is designed to help Technicians learn the brand comprehensively, with a progression plan into a Master Technician position, ensuring an easy career path within the workshop.

We’ve worked with this client for several years. They are a close-knit, family-oriented group that offers a great opportunity to develop into a Master Technician, especially with a focus on Electric Vehicles.

Duties of a Senior Vehicle Technician:

• Using diagnostic equipment, interpreting error codes, and conducting tests to identify faults.
• Carrying out repairs and maintenance.
• Replacing faulty parts and ensuring quality and safety standards.
