Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd seeks a Senior/Master Vehicle Technician for our established Preston dealership. You will work with advanced diagnostic equipment, carry out servicing and repairs, and benefit from ongoing manufacturer training including hybrid/electric systems.

Salary up to £43,000 plus £3,000 productivity bonus and time-saved bonus scheme; OTE up to £52,500. 40-hour week, Saturdays on a 1 in 3 rota, with enhanced family leave, pension, healthcare and more.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or independent garage.
• Full UK driving licence; MOT licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle health checks using diagnostic equipment.
• Perform servicing, repairs and warranty work to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs.
• Road test vehicles to confirm faults are resolved.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Follow workshop safety, quality and compliance procedures.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior / Master Vehicle Technician to join our professional workshop team at our established main dealership in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior / Master Vehicle Technician to develop their career within a respected automotive group.

As a Senior / Master Vehicle Technician, you will work with advanced diagnostic equipment, complete high-quality repairs and benefit from ongoing manufacturer and technical training, including hybrid and electric vehicle development.

• Salary up to £43,000 per annum, plus £3,000 productivity bonus and time-saved bonus scheme
• OTE up to £52,500 per annum
• 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
• 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am to 12:30pm
