Perfect Placement is seeking a Senior Vehicle Technician for a reputable independent specialist garage in Macclesfield, Cheshire. You will diagnose, service, and repair a diverse range of vehicles, maintain documentation, and ensure work is completed to high standards.

The role offers a basic salary around £42,000 with additional earnings for senior/master level, Monday–Friday, no weekends, and a supportive team environment with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Proven experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician in a professional workshop.
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Excellent diagnostic and repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles.
• Carry out servicing, including scheduled maintenance, oil changes, and tyre fitting.
• Perform fault diagnosis and rectify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete detailed repair documentation in line with manufacturer standards.
• Ensure all work is completed within recommended timeframes and to high standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.
• Collaborate with team to meet targets and customer satisfaction.
