Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to integrate complex vehicle systems within the Systems Engineering Design Team. You will drive requirements management activities and support the development of innovative electric vehicle technologies.

Working across mechanical, electrical and software disciplines, you will apply MBSE techniques, collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders, and ensure technical requirements are defined, managed and delivered throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experienced systems engineer with a strong technical background.
• Experience applying Systems Engineering principles in a product development environment.
• Comfortable working across mechanical, electrical and software disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience working within the automotive, commercial vehicle or wider transportation sector.
• Knowledge of electric vehicle powertrain systems and associated technologies.
• Experience using MBSE tools and methodologies.
• Experience with requirements management platforms and systems engineering frameworks.
• Experience developing or implementing AI-enabled solutions to enhance engineering processes.
• Formal Systems Engineering qualifications or professional accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Integrate complex vehicle systems within the Systems Engineering Design Team.
