Job summary

Go-Ahead London is expanding its in-house engineering team with Senior Vehicle Engineers for its River Road workshop. This full-time, permanent role offers a 38-hour week with overtime and weekend work as needed.

The team will handle HVAC servicing for EVs, engine work, and fleet development projects to keep London moving efficiently. We provide training and qualifications in areas like F-Gas and IMI Level 4 High Voltage, plus a pension scheme, 20 days holiday, and travel passes for London Buses

Responsibilities

• HVAC servicing and repairs for EV vehicles
• Engine rebuilding and fitting
• Specialist proactive campaign work
• Accident repair centre
• Specialist EV work including HV battery overhauls
• Major mechanical overhauls to prepare mid-life vehicles for new contract awards
• In depth research and development work to improve fleet performance
